Probably the best watch review I’ve seen on KZbin. The cinematography and filming while in natural settings is everything and not sure why many more haven’t done that. Sitting in front of a camera zoomed in doesn’t let you appreciate what it really looks like.

I have the black dial and wear it every single day. The consistency of Omega is just superior. METAS certification is no joke. They are insanely accurate. Don't grovel to another brand and beg them to take your money when Omega are just sitting there with a higher quality, less expensive piece. Chasing clout is unattractive and focusing on resale is idiotic. If you want ROI, go to wall street. If you want precise tools for professionals built by wonderful people, buy Omega Diver.

Completely agree. I have the black variant on rubber strap and I never use anything else anymore. It’s both refined and robust. Elegant but means business. Awesome watch - really exceptional.

Completely agree Omega's are so damn accurate. I love setting my seamaster or moonwatch and checking the time against my cell phone 3 days later and its dead on. Money well spent

I never understood the constant need for omega fanboys to always call out other brands in their praise for the specific watch on topic. The SMP is a fantastic watch! On the grey market or second hand market, absolutely great value. But that doesn’t mean the other brands watches aren’t worth it either. The two are not mutually exclusive. I collect both Rolex and omega. Vintage and modern. Both are incredible brands with pros and cons to each. Enjoy the hobby. To each their own

A great review - Thank You. I will be getting a Seamaster in two weeks ( the only question is color and bracelet or rubber ). Some forty years ago, my dad came home with an Omega and since then I have been fascinated by the brand. I was never able to afford a higher end watch all these years settling for cheaper options. Having celebrated my 50th birthday last year in the midst of the pandemic and unable to celebrate it in any meaningful way, I finally decided this year to get my dream watch - The Seamaster. I am so excited and am sure that I will enjoy it for a lifetime. This watch represents for me a dream of a lifetime and an homage to my father.

While I do like the white and the black dial + the new James Bond watch, the blue dial is THE seamaster for me. The waves looks amazing on the blue dial as they're truly embracing the sea theme. Also, it's the Pierce Brosnan watch which was the main reason I got interested in owning a seamaster in the first place.

I'm only 3 min 23 seconds into this video and I HAD TO stop and Like and comment on this video. At last someone finally doing something different to show off the watch. Brilliant footage of this watch on the wrist (Top marks HICONSUMPTION👍). It literally shows this watch in a whole new light. I have been on the fence about this watch for a while, but after seeing those few clips on the wrist, I think I really have to go see my nearest AD and try it on. Looking forward to watching the next 5 min 37 sec 😄....

I sold my blue 2018 300m to help fund my new 43mm Rolex Sea Dweller, but I miss the Seamaster a lot. It’s such a cool watch and it doesn’t make you worry about little scratches, etc. it’s a great everyday piece

I have the green dial and this video has me wanting the blue… excellent video. I love all aspects of the watch and have kept it on the bracelet. I embrace all the elements that many complain about, the non tapering bracelet and the helium escape. It’s a beautifully finished timepiece and I enjoy every minute of wrist time.

I have it, it’s a beast!!! Once you put it on, game over!! You will get it or will start saving to get it!! I bought t with the bracelet but also buy the rubber folding clasp strap. Its more expensive than the buckle but is worth it. The bracelet still does not tapper and is not very confortable. Great video!!

The dealers buy them rather cheap(2k ish) and have a very nice margin. Ofc. you can get a good discount if you know someone that sells them.

I've owned this watch since 3 years now. I have come back to the original bonclip bracelet for a more classy and unique look. The movement should have been an automatic one, but then they wouldn't have been able to build it in this category of size. The indices should have been filled with luminova and I'm not if the closed Line of the minute track should better canceled Like the Commando dial shows it.

I tried this watch on numerous times at the AD. There’s just something about it that prevented me from buying. For starters I just did not like the bracelet. Maybe it’s the over hyped Bond watch thing. Maybe it just looks to gimmicky for me. Don’t get me wrong cool specs inside, but was not for me. I feel the same about the speedy. Seems like everyone got one and the versions out now did not go to the moon. I ended up purchasing the Planet Ocean. Although I wish it was a little thinner, it just seem to fit my style more and not as over hyped.

The modern Seamaster sucks. The speedmaster pro, on the other hand, is an absolute icon and has a timeless design. I prefer the 1861 though over the new one
