@@jamesperrier3059 Salty? Nah man. Just shouldn’t have to explain that a long/short action with a standard bolt head can be changed to a magnum simply by swapping bolt heads. Kauger sells them. Well, I guess I did have to explain it in the end. 😂

@@shaunb4995 Bergara has Kauger make these actions for them. If you had a standard action bolt and wanted a magnum or even a 223 diameter head, you can order one and easily change the configuration to allow for whatever cartridge you like, akin to a savage. Action length permitting.

@ so that means they have to buy the action then buy added parts to get the configuration that they want. And if you want a barrelled action the. Your sol. Kinda defeats the purpose. That’s the complaint. Shouldn’t have to explain this 😂 You work for Kauger or something?

Funny crap let me give you details about our new actions .....and he proceeded to only give lipstick information look at all the shinny paint. Nothing of real importance. What are your tolerances ? What is the max oal ? What is the steel ? What is your heat treat ? Ie. Rc hardness. What are your warranties? Can a person use reloads without voiding warranty ? Ive heard you cant shoot reloads or bed a bergara rifle without voiding warranty. What about barrel tolerances ? Are they lapped ? Are they air gauged ? Are they a .0001 or .0002 or .0003 . You have given zero info of real importance. Just bells and whistles and did so with broad strokes of paint brush .

First offers in Europe are more expensive than a whole rifle from Bergara, dealers beed to get their shit together. I wont be buying a barreled action for 1200€ if I can get the same with a stock and bottom metal attached for 800-1000€. 😂

Exactly. This coming from a guy who's last 2 rifles have been through bergara. 2 b14's, both chambered in 6.5 creedmoor. One is an H.M.R. and the other is a B14-B.M.P.

@ I contacted them and they said they use to do it from the custom shop but do not offer it anymore. You would think the could at least offer pre-fits if they’re pushing the actions now. Not a whole lot of people offer bergara barrels
