It has been said that “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” and while this particular NOMOS watch houses a real complication, it shines in its apparent simplicity. In a way, this is perhaps one of the most NOMOS of all NOMOS watches out there. The Weltzeit has been around for quite some time now, more than 10 years at the time of this recording, yet it is, in my opinion, still pretty much unmatched. A GMT that looks nothing like most, such as, for example, a Rolex Pepsi GMT!

so local time can only be set via the recessed button or is it just for travel purposes meaning that you have to travel witht he tool to jump the hour?

The home time you will need to set it once. Because it is your home, for example I’m from the UAE then I will set the time and thats it. Then the easy jumping hour for the world timer when you travel
