Dudes, I'm gonna tell it straight, the first wave of this stuntz series was what got me back into Lego in general, I love it and think it's great, caused me to build an entire garage moc with my son that's big enough to fit both the monster trucks inside of, I love this set, we've had a lot of fun with them.

That’s so awesome!! Stuntz is a lot of fun and it’s so cool to hear it brought you back into Lego :)

On the one hand, it's cool to encourage kids to experiment and use trial and error. On the other hand, I could see how this could be very frustrating to try and play with. (Reminds me of the Spinjitzu Burst spinners. Took me and my sister forever to figure out the trick to getting it to burst correctly but it's fun the odd time you actually do it right.)

When I saw these in LegoCon the loops definitely reawakened my long dormant Hot Wheels fandom. I also used to love flywheel motorcycles and cars so this whole wave is practically built for me...except that they're 5x too expensive and don't seem to work all that well. Maybe I'd see if I can design and 3D print some better loops. At least the friction motors are excellent. I want to get a bunch of them and use them to power all kinds of different things.

I love these videos that review and combine an entire wave of sets, there are surprisingly few KZbinrs that do it. Have you ever thought about combing road plates with the Stuntz sets?

Wow those loops were something. They look nice in the transparent colors at least. I know when it came to hot wheels once they introduced the loop they designed all the vehicles with a requirement to be able to clear one. Lego will probably have to dedicate some development to designing a stuntz vehicle to work with it well.

the loops just look like something they should have put in the lego Sonic set

While I like the idea of having stunt bikes for other themes, I think it would be better if they instead made bikers in the stuntz line be themed as different characters, like for example a biker that has batman painting on their bike and suit, but they aren’t really Batman.

Man these prices are absolutely nuts to be honest

I prefer this to the first wave! Maybe not the bikers themselves, but definitely the builds!

I bought a few of these, certainly stuntz my wallet XD. I actually quite like the loop and as always the cool new minifig parts with the stuntz theme. I probably wont have bought any of the sets I bought if parts are available via brick & pieces, that was the good old days

I wish that they made high and curved ramps so your motorcycle can turn rather than only go straight. Great review!
@DuckBricks2 жыл бұрын
That would be really fun! I wonder how well those would work in execution

I still think it looks fun and want to try them out! Seems like Lego might be pricing out the wave though (mainly targeted at kids but at adult set prices). I'll be looking for the chimp loop and shark spinner on sale. And I'll get the bathtub biker regardless, lol.

good video. very cool sets. need brighter lighting. tighter script and editing. (example: don't fast forward, just cut to the action) that's my feedback i guess lol. these sets would be fun for my boys to play with

Great review! My kids love stuntz but we definitely won't be purchasing these anywhere near RRP. Will probably lean towards the individual bike sets and challenge sets.

If Lego wants to continue the line hopefully they’ll make improvements to how the bikes move through the obstacles. The concept is really cool though, reminds me of world racers

Way overpriced sets :( And they don't even work properly.... But --> looks good in a Lego City as a bikerpark.

Very nice video DB. :^) And thanks for the review, opinions and coverage. @35:59, what do I think? Honestly.. The release of this set.. the pricing.. the design choices.. the wokism or woke elements implemented in the toys, the packaging and advertising.. (not major concern to be honest), all made me question the nature of the current LEGO Group.. 🤔 Question what their mindset is.. Among other things.. But I know for sure that they are, maybe, worried about MATTEL's Mega Bricks Hot Wheels line.. because that line looks insane.. But I don't know..
@Project--pp8uw2 жыл бұрын
Wait XD what's "woke" about these sets?
@ArabKatib2 жыл бұрын
@@Project--pp8uw , Lmao, honestly? Ok, I'll point out some elements/ things we've seen or experienced so far in the whole STUNTZ line. Oh boy.. - The two moms couple (or what looks like a lezbian couple?) with a child, as spectators on a side build in one of the bigger sets.. (I think its the truck maybe, or the double loop).. - The stunts women sound obnoxious in the commercials, and demanding praize and recognotion .. specially the one called Wheely, we have girls who mocked her voice and phrase.. - Some guys wearing pink.. baby pink.. - The man to woman ratio in this theme is kinda off.. kinda have a message of "women can do daring things too! You misogynists! They don't belong in the ketchen" sort of thing.. But this ratio can be felt in many lines in recent years, across all LEGO themes, not just STUNTZ.. So.. yeah.. Or maybe we are reading too much into it? 🙃 But we know that what we are feeling is genuine! There IS something going on.. we can't be wrong about this.. 🤔😃 Many of us can feel that woke vibe..

what was the point to release a toy with a play feature that pretty much doesn't work for entertainment purpose? This is just poor production.

I can see my little son crying when "playing" with this. It just does not work and is utterly overpriced Lego trash ...
