Same here. The first THUG game was my bother's and my favorite PS2 game, and we both have a love for underground hip hop because of it. I didn't really explore the artists until I was 19 or so, and once I did I found so many connections to artists I already knew. _Gorillaz_ (2001) was one of the few albums I'd listen to start-to-finish as a kid. When I discovered _Deltron 3030_ and heard Damon Albarn in the intro, I immediately looked up the album on Wikipedia. It blew me away that this album was essentially made by the same 3-4 guys in the same year as _Gorillaz_ . That led me to Automator's other projects, where I found Handsome Boy Modeling School and Dr. Octagonecologyst-both of which are among my favorite hip hop albums of all time.

Dude the Tony hawk series I credit with opening me up to such amazing eclectic music. Before I played Tony hawk I thought the only music that existed was what was on the radio and MTV. Then i heard Non Compos Mentis by Haiku Detat Which led me to Aceyalone and the project blowed collective and then eventually Atmosphere And I've been a music snob ever since.
