Adam is misinformed on the big Fleury/Hagel trade thing. They were interested in both players but the Leafs weren't willing to pay the price. Knies was untouchable. That whole trade offer that was leaked was what Chicago asked for as a return and Dubas said no. That's why Dubas was so upset about the entire trade offer from Chicago being leaked. It made it seem like they were actively discussing trading Knies weeks before he was eligible to sign with Toronto.

Clearly no one knew what they were going to become an even the Tebow drafted that would’ve had to skip them a bunch of times so even though I didn’t know.

I'm a sens fan but I took my bud to game #2 Saturday for his first ever gane we're from the London area and he wore Marners old London Knights jersey and got compliments all night from leafs fans he must have got stopped at least a dozen times despite the loss he still loved the experience I've been to many leafs games as a sens fan but still appreciate the ribbing from leafs fans it's always a great crowd and good experience

Steve, there’s A LOT of context you were forgetting on the CM Punk drama. Yeah he acted like a diva in his press conference but this has been after a year of nonsense from the new clique of the young bucks and Kenny omega. Whether it be Hangman going into business for himself, The bucks and omega using the dirt sheets to to spread rumors, lies, and cause drama, Or these so called “journalists” who are too busy fangirling and marking out to actually be journalists. The one thing that would make me worried about Matthew Knies if I was a Toronto fan is that he was god awful in the world juniors. He didn’t put up that many points on a really good American team and his defensive game was abysmal, I know he’s not meant to be great at defence but he was a hinderance on defence in the world juniors.
