Keep these videos coming Dr. Handtevy, great information; I send many of your videos out to our flight nurses and medics. HALO-Flight (helicopter air medical company in south Texas) began our blood program in 2019 w/ PRBC's and plasma on every flight but started carrying whole blood and plasma in 2020. There is only one other EMS service in our region (a ground EMS provider in a northern county) that carries any type of blood product. Carrying blood products on board, to the scene has been a game-changer for us, especially when the majority of our scene responses are in very rural areas.
