For everyone who can't see it: Items you need in *bold* . She has a *threaded needle* . She has *pliers* (out of sight, but uses them later). A micro link *extension tool* with *micro-beads* on it. She takes a 1/2 inch section of hair and adds 1 microbead to the hair using the microlink tool. She holds the micro bead in place on the hair & loops the thread ( one loop )through the micro beads opening. She pushes the bead upward then clamps it down using pliers (with the hair and thread inside the clamped bead). She leaves about 1 cm of space between the scalp and bead. The repeats this around the parted area of hair until the end. She then uses hair clips to place the extensions on top of the bridge of beads and thread. She sews the hair wefts to to the beads using her threaded needle- and sticks the needle through the 1cm of hair above the bead next to the scalp.

I really love how encouraging you are! What a wonderful trait for an educator to have. Two of my sola team members just took your class last weekend! I can't wait to eventually attend one myself! Thank you for these videos and for acknowledging the stylists attempting this on their own! We all know how expensive education can be ... it's nice not feeling guilted for not having the extra funds to attend the classes we would all, no doubt, absolutely LOVE to be at! Thanks for sharing your skills, it says a lot about you for giving back to this community without charging a fee! Thank you! Wishing you nothing but blessings on your journey! I can't wait to meet you at a class in the future! 💛💛💛 -Madison💋

I'm just curious how do you start a hair extension line? I've noticed that your hair extensions are in your own brand. What were your beginnings of that are companies have seen the start-up costs are absolutely outrageous. Did you start with just a few packs and build up?

Awesome video very educational thank you Jessi. I do have a question I’m a student in cosmetology school and we just went over extensions and this is one method we did not go over that I wish we had it seems less messy and more secure. However, when you do your track the part you sow onto do you create two rows of that or put all the weft on that one track? Hopefully I make scene. 🙈

@@christineg499 I agree with you 100% I love her videos and I recommend her to everyone on my Facebook hairstylist groups. Some people can’t make it to her classes I have yet to see any of them near California and besides that there is much more that people learn in a class that is not available in a 10 minute video. I would recommend the class’s on Haircation, or the ones on behindthechair Christine.

@@justjessiiii I mentioned before in a previous video that youtube provides an option for creators to open up public closed captions. This would let your audience make and add closed captions to your videos (with your approval of course) without any additional work for you. Then those with hearing disabilities would have better access to your videos. The youtube auto-generated closed captions are typically horrible on your videos because you dont have a dedicated microphone. No shade on you though. You're a stylist first. Video quality isnt really your priority. But it does make it hard for those with hearing disabilities to have the same access to your expertise.
@justjessiiii5 жыл бұрын
Audrey Moon i actually do have a microphone 😊 that’s why i her so confused when the quality comes out poorly. Your right, i am a stylist first but i will try to work on the audio. Thanks for the suggestion!
