As someone who went to cosmetology school during the shut down, I feel like I wasn’t able to learn as much but your videos have been so helpful to me! Thank you Jessi!

I always know it's time to book a hair appointment when I start binge watching these blonding videos. 🙃

I don't know which is worse to deal with as a Cosmetologist. The older lady that sleeps & hangs her head during the service or the super talkative client that moves their head with every word. It seemed to literally give my arms a major workout! Beautiful hair!!

The low light tip is so spot on!! I’ve been doing hair for 8 years and completely agree I’ll definitely be using this tip

So grateful for your channel!!! I’ll be out of school in 2 months and I’ve learned more on this channel than I’ll ever learn in cosmo school. Color and blonding are going to be my main focus so Thank you Jessi!!!

And here I thought I was crazy in adding a Pearl in the root smudge. Like if I was wasting toner and it wasn’t doing anything. But it always looked nice so I kept doing it. This is why I love your videos. Trusting my gut from now on!

I absolutely love your videos girlie, I’ve been doing hair for 23 years and I’m so guilty of a few of these bad habits and I needed to be reminded of reasons why we need to be doing things by the book! And you have rejuvenated my love for what I do!

Beautiful results! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. This method definitely results in a superior blonding service. One thing I noticed is that you applied your gloss to wet hair, I highly recommend trying this glossing method on dry hair to increase longevity. You may need to add clear to your formula but trust me it makes a BIG difference! However if I do dry them I count the toner as a "gloss" or even a "multi tone" as an add on service instead for added time, but my highlight service includes a wet "toner".

I'm loving you're videos! I'm going through them as I leave comments on each lol! So I'm wondering if I need multiple bowls of lightner, and don't want to walk all the way back to the color room in my salon, (adds on 5 mins or so to walk back, remix, and walk back to my station) could I put the developer and lightner in the bowl, and have it waiting to be mixed like you can do with color? So that way it's sitting at my station ready when I need it? I've never tried that since it's a total difference chemical.

I did hair for 20 years..So I have an idea of how much hair services should cost..I went to a salon out of desperation and was charged 230 dollars for a full highlight and cut..I should mention I was quoted 135 on the phone..The lady who did my hair did a horrible job..She is charging way way out of her skill set. Definitely a lesson learned..

AA in shades is papaya so that would just add more warmth

Did anyone else notice that 1-1.5 ratio would have been up to 120 not 100?
@lisama012 жыл бұрын
she took 40g of powder and 60g of developer, that’s perfectly right
@sarahyoung29582 жыл бұрын
I was confused at first too. If you missed how much lightener she used then it sounded like she used 80g of developer but she meant 40g Lightner + 40g developer is 80g total. Then another 20g of developer is 40g + 60g. I had to go back and rewatch that part.

Wow, $600 for hair!! Where does hair cost that much? I could not pay that much for something that has to be done every few months.
