That dc power adapter seems to have an audio plug connector fitted, never seen one of them used for that purpose before, they are usually used to carry audio/data only.

You can buy a universal adapter you get around 5 or 6 different different options with it so you're pretty flexible in the future if you buy something without an adapter in the box.

My machine is marked DC 6V at 600mA. Mono 3.5mm plug. My socket is wired tip negative (which is non-standard) but most power supplies sold online, which are tip positive, seem to have positive reviews, so polarity may not matter. I suspect it could be run from a USB power supply with the appropriate cable, but haven’t tried this.

it just runs a motor so it will probably work but there's no speed control so it's very likely to strip the plastic gears on the machine and run too fast. it should run fine on 5 volts though

Oh my god! My one didn’t have an adapter! Mind you, that probably just made it easer for me to pull apart and fix so it would actually sew 😂.... heads up, unless you can use a soldering iron and know how a chain stitch machine should work, do not attempt that.
