Skip to the 5:00 mark for the torches. The Lerderderg State Park/Forest is located 1 hour north west of Melbourne, Victoria. It is known for its many 4WD tracks, its river and its place in the history of Victorian gold. In this video I'm out for a solo camp at one of the Park's riverside campgrounds. Check out the various light sources/torches that we use to meet our camping needs. Take a look at Amblers Road Track Campground. And get a feel for the bush life, just an hour from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Thanks for that. I really enjoyed camping there so I’m happy if others enjoy seeing it too. Cheers.

I haven’t explored that area anywhere near enough. Didn’t even realise there was a campsite there.

It’s only 1.5kms of 4WD track if you come from O’Briens Rd. Easy but steep drive in with a dry track and a 4x4. But it could be a very different story in the wet.

@@CampAndDriveAustralia yeah not so easy in the wet. When I went there it was absolutely chockas, beautiful spot but overcrowded and not enough campspots, they took O'Briens Crossing away from some reason. I've been watching your vids all weekend and you got a sub from me. I noticed you haven't got that lift as yet, maybe if you spent less on lighting you could've got it by now! :p

@@bazza2540 lol yeah you’re right. We haven’t got the lift and it’s an absolute necessity if we’re going to keep hitting tracks like that. I’ve been advised I can only get a 40mil lift if I want to keep it legal (and I do) and go up one size for the tyres. Muddies when that happens. Thanks for subbing. We really enjoy making the videos so it good to know some people enjoy them too.👍😄 It’s a shame about O’Briens. I camped there regularly when I lived in the area. But it’s much more useable for a day trip now.
