Prior to the mid-60s, many lug nut on the left side of a vehicle used left-hand threaded lug nuts. Especially Chrysler products!

WhackyJ in AK even from the 80’s it could be, hard to tell, some trucks from that era had reversed and some didn’t, they’d be stamped with an L if they did, might be a joke might not 🤷🏼‍♂️ either way good stuff 😂

I had a 1972 dodge power wagon that had left hand threads on the drivers side. The studs will have a “L” or “R” On the end of the studs I’ll tell you I fought them for the first time for ever till I figured it out

mostly true with heavy duty truck they usually are marked R to signify that. was not sure if it was part of the gag (aka trying to unscrew the nut by screwing it) or if the gag was to just oversize the lever action.

I've been trying to talk sense to my mom about using a blow torch for clearing the weeds at her guest residence. I know I'm an idealist in thinking that is too extreme, and dangerous. It might be easy to imagine going ahead and doing it, but really, she doesn't have any practical knowledge about it. Short of being on hand to dial the fire bureau, what should I have in mind to be prepared ahead of time for this? -Burnin' For You in Green Oregon
