Prior to the mid-60s, many lug nut on the left side of a vehicle used left-hand threaded lug nuts. Especially Chrysler products!

I had a 1972 dodge power wagon that had left hand threads on the drivers side. The studs will have a “L” or “R” On the end of the studs I’ll tell you I fought them for the first time for ever till I figured it out

mostly true with heavy duty truck they usually are marked R to signify that. was not sure if it was part of the gag (aka trying to unscrew the nut by screwing it) or if the gag was to just oversize the lever action.

Loosen the lug nuts about half a turn with the vehicle still on the ground. Then drive a few meters and slame the brakes. Works every time.

I've been trying to talk sense to my mom about using a blow torch for clearing the weeds at her guest residence. I know I'm an idealist in thinking that is too extreme, and dangerous.
