@@kurtschmitz4498 I always found that name funny because they're supposedly a club for loners. Anyone truly qualified to join shouldn't want to!

If you've got a cape, why do you need a hang glider?

Yeah, his flapping harness really did look like a super-hero's cape!

That was a terrible approach to landing. Legs all over the place, radical pitch changes. The fact that he ended up on his feet was sheer luck. Who is teaching these guys 🤯
@3hutp6 ай бұрын
I was taught to collect speed before landing to avoid stalls. Lots of these videos involve people already slowing down and flaring out slowly.

😁🤪🤣 whoever else has landed there should give their opinion😊☺️‼️ it's not a very large list....

The music gives a clue. I'm brand new to this, not having flown since the 70s, so this is just an "impression". But back in the day, there were two kinds of highly skilled pilots. The meticulous "engineer" types and the spontaneous, "surfer" types. Watch a world-class surfer shred, and watch how this guy moves. There's something similar. He does his own thing and "F... the rules". He probably boycotts the USHPA too. And that sweet landing wasn't luck, that's for sure!

Terrible is a strong word , who ever has mastered a few years of Hang-gliding agrees ! We don't know the actual wind condition , year around engaged pilots will confirm : sometimes you will just be play ball of gusty winds at near ground levels , how to cope with such conditions is individually different , that's how I see the video
