Hangar 9 Fokker DVII - F4 Competition Flight

My final flight of the F4 Scale Nats of 2020 in GR, in the newly asphalted runway of the Edessa gliding club in Northern Greece. Dead calm weather but with variable gusts generated by the thermal activity of the area (mountains, lake) which is a also a 1:1 gliding Mekka for this reason. Attempted take-off and landing with cross-wind - WWI biplanes don't particularly like that. Sun was also dead ahead, made some maneuvers difficult to see at all. Result: not so great scores - but what the heck... it was great fun! Engine purred, streamers flailed, plane floated - life is good.
