Hangar 9 fun scale PT-19 FLIGHTS 1&2

My first two flights on the beautiful PT-19 PNP from Hangar 9. It flies just as easy as it builds. Fantastic little plane! Only hiccup I had was the camera battery dying halfway through second flight.

Great video, thanks for sharing! Am considering swapping my Eflite 1.2m T-28 Trojan for this. What do you think? Some people say this is a 'slow' flyer, but your video suggests its really quite dynamic with power to spare. ITs a pricey model here in the UK (could get an EDF for this price...) so trying to weigh it up.

It is definitely not a 'slow' flyer but not a speed demon either. These flights were on 6S, but I have since switched to 4S. It flies a touch slower but I just like the way it flies on 4S better. It is pricey but not a bad price for an all wood plane. It should fly very similar to your T-28, just a bit less sporty (if you fly on 4S). But overall it is a fantastic everyday plane. I have a smile on my face every time I fly it.

nice flight ,, i see you went with 6 s batteries.. i have a bunch of 4s4000 so will try them on my maiden.

I think that battery will be perfect for this plane. 6S makes it over powered, but I had the batteries and prop so why not. I am going to try it with lighter batteries because even after 7 minutes I had 70% battery left with a 3700 6s and there is room to move the battery forward. I am going to try a 2500 6S next. You are gonna love this plane!

I think with 6s the flies much better. watch Brian philips fly it both ways to decide which battery fits your style.
