Hangar 9 Pitts S2B - Landing practice. No edit. Straight out of camera. 4K UHD

Still tuning the model. I adjusted the cg and she is now so much better. Still some minor tweaks before she is done. Landing in cross wind can be a challenge with this plane but i love learning and i think it will be a great plane to fly when i get some more flights on her.
No edit in this video. Pure and clean video file straight out of camera. No color grade or other fancy stuff added.

Unfortunately I’m not RC flying yet but watch a lot of KZbin on it. I always find the landings the best part of the flight which I imagine would be the trickiest part to get right. Well done on yours

Looks like your practice is paying off Bengt. On your takeoff run are you adding down elevator to raise the tail or does it come up on it's own?

Yeah a little. But in these clips she is a bit nose heavy and really wanna tumble. But with right speed she goes straight.

Im using up elevator to keep the tail down until a good speed then let it down easy until she rises. On grass she can tip over.

I’m queries on what the difference is going to be between DLE twin 60 and the Saito twin 61. I have the Saito twin 57cc in a Black Horse Gilmore and the sound is magical. But you can buy 3 of the DLE for the price of one Saito.

The saito twin 60 is a bit more lazy. But for scale flying a beautiful engine. I will replace the DLE60 in the end with a saito. I want that superb sound.

Congratulations on the flight, very realistic and clean, also excellent landings, I wanted to ask you for the C.G. of the Pitts, is located on the leading edges of the low wing? I have to test my first pitts these days, and I would not like to find myself a difficult model, thanks, compliments again. 👍👍😎

Right now im at 145mm from the leading edge of the top wing. This kit comes with a jig for mesuring cg. And it is great explained in the manual( The udated one)

Hi sir. Just mesure the hight and width. Easy to get. PilotRc and so on. Due to us moving north i sold the pitts. We have to little space at the moment.

Try to remember Landing especially in a crossword continue to use your inputs even after touchdown in fact your input should increase especially aileron and rudder , as the airspeed or ground speed decreases because they're becoming less effective crosswind hasn't stopped acting on the plane it'll prevent a ground Loop as in your scary landing video. Look at some of the full scale videos about Landing in a crosswind. They say continue to fly the plane all the way to the gate.
