I think this qualifies as one of the best R/C Videos I've ever seen in 20 years... Everything about it. Thanks for narrating; when I clicked on the link I was expecting zero value from your typical video.

I feel your pain. Sorry for your loss, - you took it like a real champ and I am sure you got back in the air soon enough. Its part of the sport.

Thanks for the vid. I am considering a larger plane with gas engine in my near future and, reciever failure aside, the Valiant seems like an excellent choice. The floats are a cool option. So sorry about your crash but I see you have another. Great!!

The Valiant is a great plane and in no way responsible for that old receiver giving up. I should have changed that out a couple planes ago I think. Just walked into the house from flying the Valiant all morning.

I would love to have one of those DLE 40cc twin engines. But they aren't cheap

I sorry for the loss of your beautiful bird but it seems you have a healthy relationship with planes and dealing with the (seemingly) inevitable crashes. Good luck in the future and I'll subscribe to watch as many more videos you will produce.

"The Valiant did feel a little heavy when i got it into the air, so i was taking it easy on the climb out" (Shoots straight up into vertical climb like an F-15)

hey.... I bought my Valiant powered by an Evolution 33 - based on your videos about the plane. Gutted for you to see a amazingly fun big plane like a valiant in pieces... :(

That's a powerful starter for the size!

Would you mind sharing the information about the receiver? I am curious because I have seen the very same reaction in two other planes. Thanks for your channel and love of the hobby.

The Powersafe receiver that quit had been in at least 4 planes over the years and had a ton of hours on it, all without issue until it finally gave out. I have lots of the same receivers in other planes and will continue putting them in new planes.

Thats a terrible feeling having no control, you feel helpless. I've had it happen a couple of times.

I know this may seen crazy but im starting to think the water has something to do with radio reception i have had planes that flew for months and i put them on water and bang they go in no rym or resion other planes are fine

Great video and the valiant looks cool on floats. What kind of starter did you use there to start the engine, looks like a nice strong starter
@flyingrcdotnet6 жыл бұрын
SI'm not sure. That was a friends starter but I think it is a regular Sullivan. I have the Hi-Torque sullivan and it starts everything I own!

Sorry about your plane, I really enjoyed the video and I see it was made in 17 so have you fixed this plane sense?
@flyingrcdotnet4 жыл бұрын
It was too busted up to fix so I got a new airframe, same thing as I love this plane!
