She is scheduled to shoot a movie, and until then, she sleeps only two hours a day to provide as much content as possible to her fans. So, she lost a lot of weight and her health was bad too. Nevertheless, she did an incredibly good live performance.

She also says that her recent schedule was as hard as that of her teenage years when she worked the busiest. Because she wanted to shoot a variety of content for her fans ahead of movie filming. As a result, she has lost a lot of her weight and her health has deteriorated. So she said she decided to take care of her life more in the future.

Arron, i stumbled upon your channel for some youtube algorithm magic. Glad I found you. Enjoying it :) I'm so glad you know the korean language a bit. I feel like IU create magic with her rhythm, words, breath, etc. She doesn't allot a single syllable to single notes. She somehow changes her tones in one syllable, stretches or compacts syllables in different notes. She's just so 'different', but I would think it's difficult to detect and appreciate them if you didn't know the language.

i actually first saw her as actress (her role there was an annoying actress 😂) and when i watched scarlet, i still don't know that she's a singer until there's a scene where she sang happy birthday to the youngest prince (baekhyun) and i was amazed. i was shocked that she was actually a singer but right after that, without 2nd thought i became a fan 😂😂

Mate, I think you should listen or react to her re-make album. IU has inspired by a lot of OG Korean musicians in 70's to 80's and 90's. In this clip, 'Meaning of you' and 'Autumn Morning' are those songs that re-make songs from Chang-wan Kim and Hee-Eun Yang. I believe it's going to be very interesting to you that compared original songs and IU's one. Plus, showing the structure of song's title that 내(Mine/my) 손(hand)을 잡아(Hold).

Aaron personal experience as someone listening to IU for the past 11 yrs...sometimes when she release an album or a song i don't like it at first specially she love to experiment and try new things but after listening to the song 3 or more times i can say that the song will grow on me. May not be my fave but i can say that i love every song she sing even if its just a cover. And I'm not someone who like something after disliking it hahaha! but IU is an exception. hehehe!

IU's voice and technique has matured and improved so much i wanted her to re-record some of her songs like even this specific playlist and arrangement and with dingo cause the mixing for this was so great and like you said her voice wasn't drowned out or super edited which makes it so lovely. especially this rendition of bbibbi and through the night are truly special to me.
