This is about: a anime called junji ito maniac I think and it's on Netflix btw ima be ur paragraph guy One day, A superstar was found dead hanging on a rope on a apartment, later (the main character idk her name tho) was hanging with he besties and she saw guys bullying or threatening the superstars boyfriend about knowing about the superstars death (the boyfriend didn't know tho) So later the superstars boyfriend saw a large big ballon of the superstar floating around, he saw her and tried to get her. Then a version of him as big ballon came and hung him with a rope. And then the ballon versions of them tried to kiss. Later the main characters besties walk and they see ballon versions of themselves, 2 of them were dead. Only the main character and one bestfriend was there, so a man saw them and shot the main characters last friend with a arrow, so the ballon deflated but the girl also deflated.. (I dont remember everything so let's skip to the end) so the main character is seen hiding in her bedroom and hears her brothers voice from outside. She opens the window and she's her brother dead (very grusome) and then he version of her ballon comes and stands infront her ballon. And the main character thinks about hanging herself.

EXPLANATION: Well in the anime an episode appears where one day everything is normal until suddenly a celebrity passes away. (The celebrity died due to hanging) After the celebrity passes away people have said to see her face in the sky roaming around at night, it had been all over the news and everybody was talking about it. Her closest friend (forgot her name) doesn’t believe that her friend would to such a thing that’s suicidal in any way so she’s very suspicious. After hearing all the stuff over the news she does not believe that her best friends head is lingering around town at night so she goes to see for her self with a boy that liked the celebrity. The boy climbs to a tree because he spots a giant head flying in the air (the celebrity girl) and tries to get to her because he likes her. Then a massive head appears but only to find out that it’s actually his head and it has an odd rope to it that will soon hang him once it gets close. After he is hanged and is now officially dead with the celebrity girl they kiss afterwards (the two heads kiss it’s weird.) The friend of the celebrity witnessed it all and is now screaming she runs away to her home (I forgot what happened after that) Anyways time skip Another day passes and she and her group of friends look up forwards the sky and see a group of circles within the air… but with hair?! And yup it’s as it seems it is them. Soon enough there are thousands upon thousands of heads roaming the city for every head to be hanged. Keep in mind that if these heads are popped the actual human itself will also “pop” as well meaning their face will start to slowly sink in within their skeleton. It’s spread across the city that it was put on the news for everybody to stay inside so that they do not get hanged. The girl is terrified at seems and days later she is at her home with her family that slowly dies due to lack of supplies and food to keep them alive, the problem is, is that they cannot go outside. Many many days later the girl stayed within her room while her whole family has died and nobody else is left, all she hears is voices coming from the window “open up! Come outside it’s safe!” She opens the window … Only to see her own face. The girl has given up and realizes there’s not much she can do anymore and decides to stick her head out until the rope slowly comes forwards. Edit 1 This was probably confusing and I’m so sorry :( I forgot all the names because I NEVER pay attention to names in anime’s and idk why 😭 please forgive me and also I really do recommend to watch this!! It’s on Netflix ❤ Edit2: On Netflix this is called Junji ito maniac collection, available on Netflix Specific name: Junji ito Maniac: Japanese tales of the macabre Epsiode 3 “hanging balloon” Also a few of you asked what if you cut the rope? Yo i saw the whole manga like half a year ago i remember this. So, for those who didnt understand, there was a girl that hang herself in an alley and turns out it was a giant balloon of her head with a rope. There are many balloons with individual faces of the the target. You cant escape them or destroy them, because whatever happens to the balloon it happens to you. One of the scariest Japanese tales out there. No way to escape, attack them and you die, be near them and you still die, the only way to delay them is by staying indoors with no holes or they'll enter. Very scary stuff. Explaination!! (i saw a video of this story along ago so i dont rlly rememeber it) so theres a girl named amelia.(i think) she was a student in a school (i forgot the name) so the class was like starting and a student looked out side and saw 4 air head balloons which looked like the other students. (The same headed balloons only attack the same headed person) they noticed some of them comming more and more. They informed the teacher and she looked out side and the balloon grabbed her by the rope on the balloon. She was up on the air and she was hanged. The students ran home but only some of them made it including amelia. Amelia and her friend went to a narrow spot and their heads tried to come up but couldn't bc it was so narrow. Her friend had founded a some type of gun so she shot her balloon head. She thought it was safe but if u do anything to pop it it happens to u. So her friend couldnt make it So She went home safely and her family members were safe. She watched the news and she was unable to go anywhere unless there was shelter. One day her mother went out to buy some food bc there were no suppies so there was no choice. The balloon headed of the mother flew up to her and hanged her up the air. Only amelia and her brother was there now. Her brother had to go bc there were no food. Her brother took a umbrella to protect himself. It casually worked. The balloon head of him mistakely caught the umbrella. He had no choice but to run. (idk more but hope it helped!!🥰)
