hanging drywall on ceiling with a drywall lift

ok so it's my first time using a drywall lift and I don't know how to use it 🙃

Sure it's a little slower but the lift will never call in sick and leave you in a bind.. plus you'll make All the money for yourself. I actually like using a lift to hang drywall.. it can also be used to hang the upper wall sheets.

You don't use glue? Most drywallers around here won't guarantee a job that's not glued.

Calzada. You may have learned this by now, but the arm that the wheel is mounted on should swing away from the center mast about 30 degrees and lock in place. With the wheel arm swung-out, everything operates smoother and easier (including the brake!).

Lifts are definitely handy when working by urself which i do a lot anymore but you definitely can't beat having three guys , 2 hanging and measuring and cutting while the other guy screwing off the sheets , definitely goes alot faster , but i hang from 30 board little additions to 220 board new houses by myself with a lift and some homes having vaulted ceilings also so once you get use to it just like using a screw gun for the first time or cutting a sheet with a t square lol it gets easier trust me , and plus means more money for urself if ur not trying to knock out acouple homes a week to get by having a crew so definitely benefits of having one

That all use is the lift when I gotta hang it’s a little slower but for one person it does the job save a little on the lifting over head 👍🏾

@@calzadadrywallcompany you get it. Once you get the swing of how moving the base of the lift effects the movement of the sheet you'll be golden! The lift may take a little more time but it saves your back and energy. Keep rocking man. Great video
