I had heel drag experience running on this shoe, and it;s a bit heavy while running since the outsole is somewhat meant for trail.

Great review, I have 10 miles on my puma deviate nitro 2 I like shoe but I have had a little pain on my right foot's achiles tendon, maybe because I have not used plated shoes before.

Could be an assortment of things, but make sure you got the shoe locked/tied down properly.
