Hanging Kerosene Stove but fueled with Waste Cooking Oil

I bought another type of Kerosene Stove which is hanging type. The Brand is General Master Model 888. It alteady comes with Burner #1 as compared with previous hanging type brand that I bought.
The fuel container should be located as high as possible to have a better oil pressuee towards the burner.
The stove was unmodified and I fuel it with filtered used cooking oil.
The fire primer is a mixture of denatured alcohol and a small amount of used cooking oil so that the fire priming last longer than alcohol alone. And also saves alcohol.
I used one cotton ball soaked with mixture of alcohol and used cooking oil.
During priming, valve is slowly opened, until heated oil comes out on the nozzle.
Close it back if the fire is huge. Adjust slowly until the desired flame comes out.

I didnt know that gravity alone is enough pressure to create a fire jet. I always thought we needed a fan for this to work by vaporizing it.

Wag na po kayo magtangka na bumili at gayahin yan. Masasayang lang pera ninyo. Matagal na po sinubukan yan marami ng mas nauna na gumamit nito, sa umpisa lang yan gagana pero wala pang isang oras hihinto na yan at magpupuro uling lang mga gamit nyo. Malapot ang mantika hindi kayang i atomize ng maayos. Mas mabuti pa dielsel ang gamitin nyo, problema lang ay mahal diesel ngayon. Pasensya po sa nag post nito. Ang intensyon ko lang ay makatulong sa mga gustong makatipid.

Really nice! I'm from eastern europe and here we have tile stoves which are usually stoked with firewood. but, i'm thinking, i could use such a stove and if it's possible to burn waste motor oil in this burner, i could do the same thing for heating.

Yes you can do it on waste oil. It is just proper pre-heating to achieve such good flame
