To answer the question at 6:43 , it's probably because Lily and Sullyoon did an OST together round that time, so they went on the show to promote that, while Haewon has went to promote Dash (she might have been pushed as the one to join by JYP since she's being promoted heavily this era and is also the leader).

I'm guessing Haewon is alone because the theme of Begin Again is to put artists in new, unfamiliar circumstances for them to "Begin Again" as artists. They are doing covers, not their songs, with artists they probably only met at one or two rehearsals. It's supposed to be a little raw. Although they do some pitch correction.
