Hi, Stjepan! Thank you for all the work you put into these lectures. I started following you 2 months ago and I feel that I have learnt a lot and that I improved my game significantly. I really enjoy your straightforward explanation and I admire you deep-rooted passion for chess. I also love the game immensely, but unfortunately I cannot commit more than an hour per day towards studying it as I am a student. However, my current goal is to become a member of the chess team for the varsity match, and thanks to you, this will be possible. You're the best xD

I have been mispronouncing Balogh! Thank you for another terrific and startling video lesson. Visually logical isn't really logical. Lying eyes. Well organized with the typical dash of wit.

Hello. I like much your videos of openings theory. I would like to tell you a little tactical mistake that I found: 1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Nd5 3.d4 d6 4.Bc4 dxe5 5.dxe5 c6 6.Nc3 and you say the variation 6. ... Nxc3 and exchange the queens (minute 5:04). It doesn't work because of the tipical trick that you menction before 7.Bxf7+ and the d8 queen is lost. Thank you for the videos!

3:57 also B takes f7 and resigning, not only taking the castle right away from black.

Great vid as always!! Question: at 5.04 why don't use the same trick as before with Bxf7+ and win the Black Queen?

Very interesting videos. Thank you. What do you think black should play on move 4? Nb6 or c6? Seems like you would recommend c6 (and I'm tempted to start playing that line), but it seems a bit more...boring?

That e4 week pawn, what about Re1. I would use the K side R. I assume there to be a reason it's not that good.

At 6:12 you are discussing the 4... c6 lines and say Qxd6 is a mistake. I let SF14+NNUE run to level 40 and find the following are the top two lines: +0.4: 5 ... e6, 6. Nf3 Bxd6, 7. O-O Nd7, 8. Re1 O-O, 9. a4 a5 ... +0.7: 5 ... Qxd6, 6. Nf3 Bg4, 7. h3 Qe6+, 8. Be3 Bh5, 9. Qe2 Qd6 ... So the difference between the "engine move" 5... e6 and the GM preference 5... Qxd6 is only 0.3 (not +1). Not really a 'huge advantage". Also, you show a rather strange continuation after 5 ... Qxd6, 6. Nf3 b4? I would be interesting to hear which engine you used and to what depth. Thanks for all your openings videos which give great overviews.

Hey there! A friend of mine keeps playing a combo of chase and bologh that is killing me--1.e4 nf6 2. e5 Nd5 3. c4 Nb6 4. c5 Nd5 5. Bc4. I have tried several different moves and none have quite panned out--do you have any thoughts or advice for black in this case? Any words of wisdom are much appreciated!

i dont understand why you include be6 after nc3 in your analysis its kinda unconventional to block your pawns with your bishop and the engine on lichess also favors e6 or Qc7 or b5
