We have forgotten that matches like these should be for blood feuds, feuds that have gone way out of the line that it needs to be settled in matches like this. Nowadays, matches like this are being built without a good feud and thus toned down to the point that we don't know how special these matches are. Thank goodness they are giving this death match some glimmer of dignity by using it to culminate a blood feud.

I think this is where Hangman excels, in promos like this, where he gets to do his character work. He's a character who needs flaws to work, so now being in the position he is in, he is starting to feel like anxious Hangman, before the title, when his character actually felt compelling.

Moxley loses clean very rarely. I can only think of two matches, and one was the Texas deathmatch against Lance Archer. AEW did nothing with Archer after that. The only clean pin I can remember is Hangman. Edit: Punk beat him at All Out.
