MJF has many demons, he's depressed, the belt is his only source of happiness, his way of dealing with them is putting on a sadistic mask as he feels the need to do that to survive. MJF had me having sympathy when he mentioned his loneliness and how his fiance left him. He made great points about Bryan's passion for wrestling coming before his wife and kids which made MJF aggrieved about Bryan taking family for granted. But before MJF had anyone on his side, he reminded everyone why he's an evil menace, by basically telling Bryan's kids a traumatising bedtime story about how he's doing to dissect their dad and give him CTE. The fight was the icing on the cake. Great segment.
