As we start, the gang has all been benched by Coach Fuller, and, in flashback, we soon find out the reason: the gang had obtained some fake I.D.'s to get into an over-21 club to see a band, and, while there, Josh, Mary Beth and Amy had gotten into some alcohol, while Vince had gotten into a fight.

Yeah, & for adults, there's a certain limit in how much alcohol bars can sell them. I know, b/c I used to work in a couple bars -- not as a bartender, but I helped stock them.

There’s still the debate though about how 18-20 year olds are considered legal adults (who can be drafted into military service) yet can’t have a drink in a bar.
