This is so much better than regular RC racing. Sturmkind Dr!ft is even better, but talking about traditional RC cars this is the only thing that looks like the real thing.

I am buying a drift Rc car soon and idk what surface I need bc I don’t want to wreck the tires so what surface do you recommend?
@jrmayun4 жыл бұрын
Usual surfaces are smooth cement, tiles, and carpet. Really fine asphalt will do as well. Have fun. There are rc drift groups in Aus.

Hello i'm new to drift rc or any rc in general. But i am interested to learn about the drift competition rules and how the judge give point to certain racer. Where can i learn about that?
@jrmayun4 жыл бұрын
There are some intricacies and slight differences between event holder to event holder in judging but they mostly prescribe to: Lead car: Drift a "chaseable" lead. Hit the clipping points. Drift the prescribed drifting line. Do not slowdown or brake in non-decel/braking zones. Chaser: Try to mimic the lead car. Try to get as much proximity as possible. Avoid cutting the drift line too much. Do not collide with the lead car. Small bumps are ok as long as it doesn’t change the lead cars line and angle. Do not overtake the lead car. It is not a race. If you want longer explanations, these might help drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lisJkE02ABL5Z_LapVvA6Ddvj801o3uH?usp=sharing

Yokomo YD2, Sakura D5s, MST RMX 2.0 Those three are great kits for today's rc scene. Out of the three, the yd2 is the most developed and the d5s is the cheapest. Personally I would go with the yd2 but it also depends on what your local scene has the most support for. . I would advice you to go find your local rc group and start asking there. You'll see what chassis is most prevalent and how the local supports for parts are. There are also online shops. Maybe there's one for your country but places like rcmart have a lot of rc stuff.
