Born in 1925 in Boryslaw, Poland, Hank went to work at a young age to help support his family during the early part of the war. During the Nazi occupation, he was selected for labor and survived a number of different concentration camps including Plaszow and Mauthausen.
This interview was conducted by Dr. Marcia Horn for Ferrum College and deposited with the Virginia Holocaust Museum.
