NON?

I agree with you, Mickey! It is absolutely a great band! I'm very young (15 years old), but I'm a big fan of their music. My peers dissapoint me with music they listen to. I'm happy, that I know about such amazing musicians, as The Shadows.

@@mickeygovender2851 thank you! I love a lot of songs of 50s and 60s. Buddy Holly, Elvis... And The Shadows of course. I even started playing electric guitar because of Hank, and now I can play a lot of his tunes and not only...

I'm Belgian and these interviews of Cliff and Hank were made after the show at the Forum of Liège (my town) in 1964. It was the only time I saw them live. I was 15 like you and I'm still their greatest fan at nearly 74. The concert was amazing. You can see it on KZbin (Belgian TV archives). They had the power to move us and I have been loving Cliff since his beginnings. Thank you for sharing these gems.

Thank you so very much, Alice, for posting this. As you probably already know, the sound level is very low, but it's maybe not possible to augment this: I myself have no experience with placing videos here.

First it was Duane Eddy but then it was Hank B Marvin and the Shads with that driving electric guitar sound backing a vocalist which in my opinion even surpassed what was heard on American recordings. Hearing Merl Travis play Re-Enlistment Blues in t he movie From Here To Eternity on a fender accoustic turned me onto guitar music big time and learning the instrument and many years of enjoyment. Hank is a wonderful tunesmith.
