I just started playing it out of nowhere and my mom says “Grandpa used to sing this all the time you know that right?” and I told her I didn’t know that. My grandpa passed in 2012 and finding your comment was pretty cool. My grandparents would’ve been married 45 years that June and 53 years this year. I wish you and your parents the best.

@@ElizaWebbgas a black person who loves the genre of country but hates modern country you hit it on the nail. Gone are the days of country artists like Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams of course and so many more. In fact a large amount of modern country songs are literally written by rappers like T-Pain. It’s just different and wack now

Put your heart and soul into your music. The world is full of critics, and full of lovers. Get insight from the critics and inspiration from the lovers. Be a bulldozer tearing up what the naysayers want to toss at you. Never, ever give up. It's your future, not theirs. Always be kind to others (I know its hard). A bad attitude can put a stop to a career. Be quick to apologize and fast to put praise on others. Study Hank and Elvis's lives. They were true entertainers. The Colonel pushed Elvis to be what he was. Looks like Hank was a forerunner setting up the way for Elvis. Flashy suits when the time is right and always leaving the audience hungry for more. We have one life so make it one we all will remember with a smile on our faces.

Just finished watching I Saw The Light. Gave me cause to do research into the shooting star career of one of the 20th century's greatest American artists. Just amazing to believe he did all of that, and never reached 30 years.
