POZED! This video is typical poz from the era. I just thank god that cable was not available in my city when this song was out as I was 15 and impressionable at that time.. Music videos completely destroyed music in the 80s. Some of the worst music became big hits because of the videos. Aha Take on Me is one of them.

A long long time ago, 73 or 74, Mr Williams, you and your band bought two cases of candy Easter Eggs from me (i was 8 years old) at Peggy's Chicken Shack in Bear, Delaware. Y'all had just finished playing at the Triple Nickel Saloon. I never got the chance to thank you properly...I won my schools top prize of a 10 speed bicycle. My wife and I had a summer cabin one time in Colorado Hank Jr. had a cabin across the street and three doors down. He wasn’t there but just once in a while. But boy when he was, he could throw some parties just like that. We’ve seen some pretty crazy parties go on. We got rid of that cabin several years ago and don’t know if he still has his or not we haven’t kept updated on what goes on around there in a long time. Don’t get me wrong he was a great neighbor, but buy howdy things could get pretty wild once in a while.

I saw Hank Jr. in June 1982. Great entertainer. Yes, this song became the MNF theme song and made him lots of $$$$$
