This is what happens with the materialistic fame & fortune from a demand to be in a different city & State 7days a week with only upper & downers to keep you going to please your record Co., agent and fans, with women throwing themselves at'em everyvwhere they go not being home for weeks & months at a time = "You gotta be on tour to meet the standards"....that's really one sad life only another 'entertainer' can comprehend 4 really no life unless husband & wife travel and tour together with the children on a huge bus/motorhome pulling a trailer for equipment and takinf time 5o take in the sight, parks, museums, farmers markets, local attractions, theater's and peoples etc

This is awesome. Thanks for posting this. This must be some of the last footage featuring guitarist Luther Perkins, who died 5 August 1968. Luther was one of the original members of Cash's band, The Tennessee Three. A legend in his own right, Luther was one of several famous musicians born on January 8 (1928). The list also includes: Elvis Presley (1935), Shirley Bassey (1937), The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger (1946) and David Bowie (1947). What a great day to be born...
