lol ya'll trigger over anything. all Fox News is is agitprop. It's why you're angry all the time. Gotta have the resentment against liberals burning bright all the time. Who else can you blame for all your problems? The rich guys who won't pay you enough? Or give you benefits? Or jack the prices up on everything just because they can. No it's that poor soul down the street who's having it just a little tougher than you. He's the reason your life sucks. Right?

I love Hank's attitude. He doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks of him, his songs or how he presents himself and he is still one of the most famous artists in country music. He is a Conservative and isn't afraid to toot his Conservative horn, he is anti-establishment and that kind of attitude is something we ALL should have these days and we shouldn't be afraid to voice our opinions on any issues without fear of censorship or cancellation. Who cares about the Grand ole Opry anyway? I never could understand what the big prestige of being a member of that was for these artists..... Big deal.....

I’ve been a Hank Jr fan for nearly 50 yrs, since the mid 70s. My favorite song of his is Country Boy Can Survive, and I’ve seen him in concert 7 times, 5 times in the 80s and twice in the 90s. He’s my favorite country music artist !!! I’m a huge fan and I respect his politics and his personal ethics. I almost always agree with his stance on social issues.

I've been to many other of concerts, but Hank keeps me coming back for more. The best parts when he's on stage, telling stories by his self, with a guitar or piano. It don't get no better.

We need a no BS musical hall of fame. Because artists like Hank Williams Jr., Lemmy Kilmister and Bon Scott are never going to get as much credit as they should. Also because it would be nice to have a hall of fame that is going to snub the flavor of the month acts that got into a hall of fame long before people like those three did.

First record I remember my dad buying was LUKE THE DRIFTER; a great education on how to look at life and the people in the world. Hank Jr is about 10 years my senior, so I remember him starting out. Remember hearing about how people put him down, "You'll never as good as your daddy," and I took offense! His dad named him and people should have respected that. Bocefus could deliver those songs with a very similar voice but in his own style. His own early recordings are my favorites of all his works. Decent actor, too. Midnight in Montgomery by Alan Jackson took me to a place. In 1981 I was stationed at Maxwell AFB and the morning before dawn of September 17th of that year I went up the hill to pay respects. A vase of flowers, the card signed simply "Bocefus" was on his grave. I knew it had to be a personal delivery because of who he is. Someone might have claimed a souvenir, but I couldn't touch it. Too much respect for both.

I always loved the song-Eleven Roses by Hank Jr that came out in 1972,BUT, what drew me to Hank was "Family Tradition". When that song came out in 1979,(I was in High School) my School Bus was stopped letting kids off on a 2 lane Country Highway and a Convertible behind us with the Top down, had "Family Tradition" blasting. I hitchhiked about 7 Miles to a Peaches Records Store and bought the 45,and later that year-Christmas 1979,my parents bought me the 45-Whiskey Bent Hell Bound/OD'd in Denver, along with a Merle Haggard 8-Track of "Back to the Barrooms".

If you’re raised up listening to this man’s music as lullabies while your daddy was holding you in one arm and a ice cold beer 🍺 in another hand, then you’re definitely 💯 raised as tough as nails!! Only tears are in those beers 🍻😂
