I totally miss the 90s. The way people just felt comfortable being themselves, original and real Hip Hop music, and real people basically. Now EVERYONE is fake, its all about sex getting laid etc, no one wants to build meaningful relationships anymore. I seriously feel bad for kids that grew up after 90s. 90s generation was era of real human interaction/meaning.
@PkTwin12319 жыл бұрын

Jesus fucking christ, the 90s were shit like every other goddamn decade, get over it already Just because you grew up in them doesn't change shit about it
@webesorrytho9 жыл бұрын
Hozar Hozo LOL. so biggie didn't rap about sex, drugs, or violence? neither did the wu-tang? or snoop? or eazy? or redman? or 2pac? or big l? or dre? or big pun? or onyx? you act like every rapper was a nas or lauryn hill. what are you talking about? sure, i love the era as much as the next person, but to say that the decade was the only one of "real human interaction" is just ignorant. do some research and figure out who are making albums in 2015. try to make that argument afterwards. you can't.
@nabitall95759 жыл бұрын
Hozar Hozo you clearly don't know how to listen to hip hop direct quote from this song "I hit the skins collect the check now I'm ready to jet"... thats blatant meaningless sex, which is fine. shut up
@SpoofRecaps8 жыл бұрын
+OZtheTechnician You're insanely ignorant. People are going to speak about that in every decade, that's never going to change. The MAJORITY consensus was an atmosphere as described by Hozar Hozo back in the 90s. Growing up in Bronx, New York, the origin of hip hop, I can personally draw from experience. Even the drug dealers in my building were about meaningful human interaction. It was a whole different era back then. No Facebook, no instagram, you were forced to interact with others which literally forces you to be "real". There's no being fake or acting like something you're not behind the internet at that time. You would get checked REAL quick.

I'm something fierce when it comes to the auditory My mic sings like a hummingbird, that's my word My claim to fame is the fliest that you ever heard Yo pass the mic to L. Fly and let me catch wreck Cause I gets busy, the show or the soundcheck It doesn't matter yo, the pockets gettin fatter You can save all the chatter cause we thick like batter Somebody gotta win, somebody gotta lose Yo I pay my dues and I refuse to lose Givin crews the blues with any style you choose We chantin real Hip-Hop, fuck the "Ahh's!" and "Oo's!" Yo the L's been phat, so you best protect ya neck I hit the skins, collect the check - and now it's time to check Check the flow [Chorus + Vocal sample] [Bridge] Check the flow My peoples in Oakland, check the flow My peoples in Seattle, check the flow My peoples in Chicago, check the flow My peoples in Detroit, check the flow [Alternate Chorus] And on, and on And on, and on And on, and on And on, and on X2 [Outro over alt. Quite a few lyrics here aren't correct - "It's time for sun rise so finally embrace the truth" is the correct bar for that line. "So brothers with real skills" not Two brothers. Its "Pranksters" not Wanksters. It's "Rest spot" instead of rest pot, "Cess Spot" instead of zest spot because he's talking about a smoke spot as well as the quarter for back part actually being "Call the fuck back" - and finally it's "When my addiction extends" (obviously because he's addicted to spitting bars) Got most of it right though.
