Mr. Parker, I can’t hardly go a day without tears in my eyes thinking of your friend and mine. I had to great opportunity to meet Dale several times, fly on his helicopter into some tracks with Mr Jim Pate, President and CEO of Pennzoil, from back in the day. I miss them both. The lose of Dale hit me more than losing my father and my former boss I flew for for 30 years. I’m with you in thought and prayers that someday we will get to shake the hand of Dale once again!❤ Thank you for your stories and I believe in my heart you helped Dale Jr, with things he was needing to know. Thank you again, Ronnie East, Tennessee

Loved your line when Dale struggled to open the live well, 'Ya gotta be a man!' The love between these two is so obvious! Your appearance on the Dale Jr show brought me here! Wish HP Jr would come back to the DJD and share more stories of their youth ! I too, miss Sr a ton, but you and he were two of a kind! Love me some Earnhardt stories as they remind me of my younger days!! Keep this up!

We all thought when we were about 30 years old that we were 10 ft. tall and bulletproof! At about 70, I just try to make another day, and go fishing!! I love these old rewinds of your shows. A lot of us miss Dale Earnhardt. He was in my opinion the most intimidating driver in Nascar!! A huge portion of NASCAR was lost & gone forever on that sad day at Daytona! Thanks for the memories!!! God bless!

Hank thanks for sharing this with us. I really enjoyed your Dale Jr podcast appearance as well. I wonder during that show if you had anything to do with the “winners” show that visited nascar drivers at their homes. It was a great show. I remember a Dale Sr. Niel Bonnet interview at Dale’s farm where they were showing Dale’s farm and his deer. Great show that was as well. I always thought nascar and getting out to enjoy nature belong together. Heck maybe it’s what’s missing in nascar today… Dale jr would be great at a “winners” type show. And you taking out guys like Truex huntin and fishin or even teaching the new guys in the sport these skills. Video games are fun but you need to get out in nature. Thank you again Mr. Parker you can tell why you and Dale were great friends. You are a great person.

Hank I would love to see a rewind of the day you were fishing with Bo Jackson. You would catch a fish on a spinner bait. Bo was using a worm. Hank, I sure have some great memories of my younger years watching your shows. As soon as it was over, I was headed out the door to go fishing. My wife would laugh when she heard that intro music, she'd say, "well I guess you're going to watch fishing and then you're going fishing?" Great memories and here I am 30 some years later doing the same thing except I went fishing this afternoon and now I'm watching you again. I met you a few years ago in Knoxville at the Classic and it was a real pleasure meeting you. Just want you to know how much you and your show has meant to so many. I also miss Dale, I rarely watch Nascar anymore, just not the same.

I was just watching you on the dale Jr's podcast, then this video popped up on my recommendations. I'm glad I found it. I grew up watching you fishing, and dale racing. And then watching hank Jr racing. When dale died, i literally cried for a month straight. I never got a chance to meet him, and to this day it makes me sad thinking about him. I lost my hero. And you lost a close friend. Anyways I'm glad you're still doing good, and it's good for the soul to look back and reminisce

Such great memories watching the old shows like this one ! I was watching the race the day Dale was killed and like so many others it was way too soon ! My Dad and I were always Earnhardt fans from the beginning. And I also remember watching the BassMasters on TNN when you won the SuperBass IV and called Angie from the stage ! She was so excited ! We lived in the "country" and didn't have cable TV so my Grandmother would set her VCR to record the BassMasters every Sunday morning while we were at church. Then I would stop by her house and pick up the tape so I could see the week's episode. Great memories !! God Bless you Hank !

I got to meet Dale when I was a little kid in 94 just before he won his 7th cup. He was doing an autograph signing in Utica NY. I know right? Yankees lol. But I'll tell you now. He was one of two racing heroes I had. The other was Richie Evans and if you've ever heard that name you'd know how similar those two guys were. Anyway, everyone else was bringing mugs, diecasts and stuff to get signed. I hand drew his Chevy Lumina. When he saw that and saw the time I put into getting it just right, he spun a chair around and had me sit next to him for about 20 minutes with my dad while he signed other people's stuff. Let me tell you, that left a lifelong impression on me and I can still VIVIDLY see that half smirk he gave me when he said , "You know the problem with this car?" I said, "What's that Mr. Earnhardt." He said to me "There ain't enough tire marks on the side." My dad and I laughed so hard at that. He was truly a GREAT man. I'll never forget that.
