I remember when I was about 10 years old or maybe 12 I was living right across the street from Westport Baptist Church and Hank Jr took me fishing on lake Norman ever since that day my life has been revolved around the outdoors I can thank him for what I know today i’ll never forget that

Hey Hank Sr., remember when me and my husband took you and Larry Bird fishing? I've been watching old film, and that was one of them. I will never forget when Larry "didn't want to talk" (with a few special words in his declaration). Larry had fish on, and you were trying to have some commentary for the show...And it was established in that moment, that Larry Bird was as competitive about fishing as he was about basketball... and we all laughed about that realization. The year was 1985, our 1st season of Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine on the air. Back then during Season 1 in 1985, Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine syndicated commercially to local stations. In 1984, Hank Parker and Michael Runnels formed a production company called Parker/Runnels Productions, creating a nationally syndicated half-hour fishing show Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine, which debuted during Season 1 in 1985.👍
