I think the hatred that yujiro had for his father stemed on the fact that even tho yuchiro was the peak of human strength and power he never used it to dominate or destroy (unless he was provoked) some of the strongest people and yuichiro was overall a peaceful/humble warrior in stark contrast to yujiro violent and chaotic warrior type who wanted to be the strongest thing on the planet so in retrospect it was a clash of different personalities and ideologies between father and son . Hell even it was implied that yujiro killed yuichiro I wouldn't put it pass yuichiro to let his son kill him because he felt pity for him and never struck back
