No, it's basically stated that Hanma won that fight. The old man admits to knowing he would have died if he took that punch, so he stopped his heart to prevent himself from being killed for real. It's pretty much the only way he could have forfeited the fight. Sure, if you want to say he lost the battle but won the war, you may have a point. But Hanma 100% came out the Victor if his opponent has to 10 count himself to avoid dying. If I lay down on the mat of an MMA match until the 10 count is up, because I don't want my face smashed in, I still lose.
