@@ismailhanafi1671 There are several hadiths that describe the lineage of the Mahdi, the rightly guided leader. Here are some of the most well-known narrations regarding his ancestry: 1. Descent from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) The Mahdi is described as a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), through the lineage of Fatima and Ali -alaihimas-salam-. This is mentioned in the following hadith: "Al-Mahdi is from my progeny, from the lineage of Fatima." (Abu Dawood, Hadith No. 4284; Ibn Majah, Hadith No. 4086) 2. His Name and Lineage It is narrated that the Mahdi will have the same name as the Prophet Muhammad and will also be from the Prophet's family: "The Mahdi is from my family, from the descendants of Fatima. His name will be like my name, and his father’s name will be like my father’s name." (Abu Dawood, Hadith No. 4282; Tirmidhi, Hadith No. 2231) 3. Specific Characteristics Another hadith indicates that the Mahdi will be from the Prophet’s household and will appear during a time of great turmoil and injustice: "If only one day of the world’s life remained, Allah would extend that day until He sends a man from my family, whose name will be like my name. He will fill the earth with justice and fairness as it was filled with oppression and tyranny." (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith No. 6276; Tirmidhi, Hadith No. 2230) 4. The Mahdi and the Quraysh The Mahdi’s lineage is also associated with the Quraysh tribe, as the Prophet’s family belonged to this tribe. A narration emphasizes the significance of his ancestry: "The Mahdi is a man from the Quraysh." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith No. 4084)

@@lazdfadammahom7488 Yes, the Prophet ﷺ does have descendants through his daughters. However, his male children passed away at a young age and left no offspring. His lineage continues through his daughters, specifically through Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, the children of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with all of them). Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn both had offspring. These descendants, if their lineage is preserved and verified with evidence, are considered part of Banu Hashim. As such, they are not permitted to receive zakat or charity, in accordance with the Prophet’s ﷺ statement: “It is not befitting for the family of Muhammad; it is but the impurities of people.” Therefore, charity is impermissible for the family of Muhammad if they are descendants of Al-Hasan, Al-Husayn, or any others who trace their lineage to Banu Hashim, such as the children of Ali in general, including the descendants of Muhammad ibn Ali and others. In summary, those who are from the lineage of Banu Hashim are considered part of the Prophet’s ﷺ family. Additionally, the descendants of Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn are considered his progeny through his daughters, as the Prophet ﷺ said about Al-Hasan ibn Ali: “This son of mine is a leader.” He referred to him as “my son” even though he was the son of his daughter. Thus, children through daughters are also considered progeny. Allah Himself referred to Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon them) as part of Adam’s progeny, despite Isa being a descendant of Maryam, Adam’s daughter, with no father. Allah included him among the progeny of Adam and Ibrahim (peace be upon them all) 🌹

Many individuals claim to be descendants of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) for personal gain, but not all of these claims are authentic. For example, names like “Khan” have Turkic origins and do not trace back to the Prophet’s Arab Quraysh lineage. Genuine Sayyid or Sharif lineage requires solid genealogical evidence, not merely a name. A clear example can be seen in the lineage of King Abdullah II of Jordan, which traces back to the daughter and cousin of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through several generations. The lineage includes names such as: Abdullah II ibn Hussein ibn Talal ibn Abdullah I ibn Hussein ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Abdul Mu’een ibn Auon ibn Muhsin ibn Abdullah ibn Alhussein ibn Abdullah ibn Alhassan ibn Mohammed Abu Namyy II ibn Abu Barkat ibn Muhammad ibn Barkat ibn Alhassan ibn Ajlan ibn Rameth ibn Muhammad Abu Namyy I ibn Abu Sa’ad Alhassan ibn Ali Alkaber ibn Qatadah ibn Idris ibn Mat’an ibn Abdulkareem ibn Issa ibn Alhussein ibn Suleiman ibn Ali ibn Abdullah Alkaber ibn Muhammad al-Tha’ir ibn Musa ibn Abdullah ibn Musa ibn Abdullah al-Mahth ibn Alhassan II ibn Hasan al-Mu’thanna ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, the cousin of the Prophet. This lineage continues through “Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim ibn Abd Manaf ibn Qusai ibn Kilab ibn Murrah ibn Ka’ab ibn Luayy ibn Ghalib ibn Fihr ibn Malik ibn al-Nadr ibn Kinanah ibn Khuzaimah ibn Mudrikah ibn Illyas ibn Mudhar ibn Nizar ibn Ma’ad ibn Adnan, and from Adnan to Ishmael, spanning many centuries, ultimately connecting to Prophet Ishmael, son of Ibrahim.”

You’re right, but it’s important to mention that the Prophet’s lineage continued through his daughters (Zaynab, Fatimah, Ruqayya, and Umm Kulthum). While Islamic tradition usually traces lineage through the father, the descendants of the Prophet’s daughters are still considered part of his family line. Also, many of the Prophet’s grandchildren and sons died young, usually between the ages of 5 and 10. The only grandsons who lived to adulthood were Al-Hasan, who passed away around 50, and Al-Husayn, who died at 57.

Hello, first of all, this was a great video and am really happy this was made. The descendents of the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), or the Sadaat (plural for Syed) are spread across the world and actively play key parts in the Islamic Community, even those that have nothing to do with politics. As a Syed myself, I can assure that most of us have perfectly recorded histories of our fathers and forefathers leading upto the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Many of us can also be identified by our family names, even if 'Syed' is not present in the name. For example, Kazmi, Musavi, Rizvi, Naqvi, Hassani, and Hussaini are the most popular family names, based on the last common ancestor we have from the grand children of the Prophet (P.B.U.H), though that may not always be the case (the last common ancestor part, I mean)

Hello, I really appreciate your wonderful channel I want you to ask about women’s rights in Islam Such as the inheritance and dowry that she takes before marriage, and her father’s name does not change and is followed by the man’s. Rather, her name remains after her family name, but her children belong to their father’s name. This is a very wonderful thing. Regarding marriage in particular, which is permissible for a man to marry 4 women, but there is a text in the Qur’an that says, “And if you do not treat each other equally, then it is one and you will not treat each other equally.” There is a lot for women, as Islam has many rights that actually exceed all religions

AlSalamu 'Alaykum. I comment here for correcting Chat GPT who obviously take His Knowledge of Islam for the majority i.e Sunnis but nevermind, I correct him even from a Sunni side : The Holy Prophet (S) had three sons, two of whom Al Qasim and Abdullah were from Lady Khadijah (a.s) and the third, Ibrahim, was from Lady Maria Al- Qibtiyyah (a.s). All of them passed away during childhood. AlQasim and Abdullah passed away in Makkah and Ibrahim passed away in Madinah. The Holy Prophet (S) was survived by his only one biological daughter from Lady Khadijah (a.s) who is the greatest woman of all times, Lady Fatimah (S) born 7 years before Hijrah (622). He also had three fostered daughters, Ruqayyah, born 20 years before Hijrah and passed away in the 2nd year after Hijrah ; Zaynab, who was born 23 years before Hijrah and dies 8 years after Hijrah and Umm Kulthum who was born 19 years before Hijrah and passed away in the 9th year after Hijrah. These three fostered daughters are mentioned in the books of history as daughters of A’atiqa bint Khowailid, the sister of Lady Khadijah (a.s). Lady Khadijah (a.s) and the Holy Prophet (S) looked after them and brought them up as fostered daughters and that is why they were known as daughters of the Holy Prophet (S) according to the Arab culture who called the fostered children as sons and daughters like calling Zaid who was a fostered son of the Prophet (S) yet he was called as Zaid Ibn Muhammad (S) i.e Son of Muhammad (S). So, Sayeda Fatimah AlZahra (S) is specific because she is the only daughter of The Prophet (S) and that He (S) only said to her things like He (S) saying "Fatimah is a part of me, and whoever makes her angry, makes me angry" [Sunni (Islamic) Source : Sahih al-Bukhari 3767 Book 62, Hadith 112] & "Don't you like to be the chief of all the ladies of Paradise or the chief of the believing women" [Sahih al-Bukhari 3623, 3624 Book 61, Hadith 129] and more. Yes being the descendant of RassulAllah (S) doesn't confer any status, however it was precised that "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; TWELVE PRINCES shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation" The Bible (KJV) [Genesis 17:20] & "O you who have believed, obey Allāh and obey RassuliHi (His Messenger) and Ulil Amr (those in authority) among you." AlQur'an [AlNisa 4: 59] and for explaining who is Ulil Amr : It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Samura who said: I heard RassulAllah (S) say: Islam will continue to be triumphant until there have been TWELVE CALIPHS (in other sunni sahih sources : PRINCES and even IMAMS). Then the Prophet (S) said something which I could not understand. I asked my father: What did he say? He said: He has said that all of them (twelve Caliphs) will be from THE QURAICH [Sahih Muslim 1821d Book 33, Hadith 8] and Quraich was a the master tribe of Makka and came from Quraich, one of the descendants of Isma'il (S). Let's continue : "And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with words [i.e., commands] and he fulfilled them. [Allāh] said, "Indeed, I will make You Imam (A Leader) for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of MY DESCENDANTS ?" [Allāh] said, "My covenant DOES NOT include THE WRONGDOERS"" The Qur'an [AlBaqara 2: 124]. And here, it confirms that the descendants of Ibrahim (S) through Isma'il (S) shouldn't be corrupted nor touched by any kind of wrong (including polytheism) even if sunni scholars lie in interpreting it falsly in saying, it is permissible for a polytheist which became muslim to be an Imam, Prince, Caliph. Anyway, here more proofs but before let's be clear The Appointment of A Divine Leader is from Allah only (Monarchy) and not from election (Democracy) : "And your Lord creates what He wills and CHOOSES; not for them was THE CHOICE. Exalted is Allāh and high above what they associate with Him" AlQur'an [AlQasas 28: 68].

"Your GUARDIANS (that they unfairly translate as allies) is none but Allāh and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed - THOSE WHO ESTABLISH PRAYER AND GIVE ZAKAH AND (WHILE) THEY BOW (IN WORSHIP)" AlQur'an [AlMa'idah 5: 55] AlHarith told me, he said, Abdul Aziz told us, he said, Ghalib bin Ubaid Allah told us, he said: "I heard Mujahid say about His statement: “Your guardian is only God and His Messenger,” the verse, he said: It was revealed about ALI IBN ABI TALEB, HE GAVE CHARITY WHILE HE WAS BOWING" [Sunni (Islamic) Source : Tafsir AlTabari p117 on 5:55 and a lot more mading it multiple thus trustworthy]. However, let's give you sunnis (and chatgpt) the benefit of the doubt and say that it talk about friendship. On The Authority of Ibn 'Abass saying "RassulAllah (S) said to 'Ali 'You are to me as Harun was to Mussa, except that You are not a prophet. You are MY SUCCESSOR over every believer after Me'" [Sunni (Islamic) Source : The Sunnah of Ibn Abi 'Asem v1 p799 h1222 ; Grade : Hasan (which made it Sahih)]. Zaid ibn Arqam said that "When RassulAllah (S) came back after Hajat AlWada' (The Farewell Pilgrimmage) and descend on Ghadeer Khumm and ordered us to gather near the trees and said 'I was supplicating (to Allah) and I got answered : 'Indeed, I am leaving among you, that which IF YOU HOLD FAST TO THEM, YOU SHALL NOT BE MISGUIDED AFTER ME : The BOOK OF ALLAH AND MY FAMILY AHLABAYTI SO LOOK AT HOW YOU DEAL WITH THEM AFTER ME BECAUSE THEY SHALL NOT SPLIT UNTIL THEY MEET ME AT THE HAWDH. Then said 'Allah is MY MASTER and I AM THE MASTER OF EVERY BELIEVER " Then HE TAKE THE HAND OF 'ALI AND SAID 'FOR WHOEVER I AM THE MASTER THEN HE IS HIS MASTER (and the term have nothing to do with friendship, but we will come to it later) O ALLAH BEFRIEND WHOEVER BEFRIEND HIM AND BE HOSTILE TO WHOEVER IS HOSTILE TO HIM' So I (Husain bin Sabra) said to Zaid if He heard that from RassulAllah (S) and He said 'There is no one near the trees who don't see It with his eyes and heard It with his ears' [Sunni (Islamic) Sources : AlBidayah walNihaya by Ibn Kathir v5 p174 ; Grade : SAHIH confirmed by Sheikh Abu 'Abdullah AlDhahabi]. Let's confirm that the term Mawla is Master here and not friend with one hadith : On 'Amr bin Wathila saying that "'Ali gathered the people in a spacious place and said 'I ask by Allah every man who heard RassulAllah (S) saying what He said on The Day of Ghadeer Khumm' so people stand who witnessed RassulAllah (S) saying on The Day of Ghadeer Khumm 'Don't you know that I AM MORE WORTHY (OF AUTHORITY) of the believers than themselves ?!' (IN SIMILARITY WITH ALQUR'AN [ALAHZAB 33:6]). So He stand and TOOK THE HAND OF 'ALI AND SAID 'TO WHOMEVER I AM HIS MASTER THEN 'ALI IS HIS MASTER, O ALLAH BEFRIEND THOSE WHO BEFRIENDS HIM AND BE IN ENMITY OF THOSE WHO ARE IN ENMITY WITH 'ALI'. Abu Tufayl said 'I narrated the same as THIS so I met Zaid bin Arqam and informed him so He said 'WHY DO YOU DENY ?! I HAVE HEARD IT FROM RASSULALLAH (S)''" [Sunni (Islamic) Source : Khasa'is Ameerul Mu'minin (Characteristics of the Commander of the Faithful) 'Ali bin Abi Taleb (S) by AlNasa'i p82 h93; Grade : SAHIH and was narrated also by Ahmad, AlBazar, bin Abi 'Assem, AlTahawi, Ibn Abi Haban and AlTabarani]. And they are more in Sunni Sources. So, Ameerul Mu'minin 'Ali AlMurtadha (S) is The 1rst Legimate Caliph/ Prince/ Imam chosen by Allah ('Az) through His Rassul Muhammad AlMustafa (S). And through history, we know very well that after Imam 'Ali ibn Abi Taleb (S) was appointed His Son Imam Hasan AlMujtaba (S) even if in sunni Islam, they said that He (S) was chosen by people and that His Father left His Word without appointing a leader but that's only a conspiracy so that they (sunnis) can confirm that RassulAllah (S) never chose a leader when He died without giving His Will which by the way was because of 'Umar (l.a) stopping Him in accusing Him of being crazy and that's because he knew very well and and some of their scholars confirm that His Will was about to telling who is The Leader after Him (in this case, remembering who is He (S)). Anyway, RassulAllah (S) chose Ameerul Mu'minin (S) and He (S) chose Imam AlMujtaba (S) because It was The Tradition of The Prophet (S) to appoint a Leader before departing from this life and Imam 'Ali (S) in sunni sahih sources is knowing to know all The Qur'an and The Sunnah.
@AliAlMuhammadi223 күн бұрын
Then even if Mu'awiya (l.a) took AlHukm (The Rulership) by a Peace Treaty between him and Imam Hasan (S), you and me know very well that Imama (Divine Leadership) is only chosen by Allah and thus cannot be stolen at all. And in this peace treaty He (S) precise the intention that after his death, he should pass It to Him (S) or to His Brother Imam Husayn Sayed AlShuhada (S) which indicate clearly the way The Imama : AlMustafa -> AlMurtadha -> AlHasan -> AlHusayn (S). Even if Mu'awiya (l.a) belied the peace treaty and thus broke it in poisonning AlHasan (l.a) and passed AlHukm (rulership is an human authority, that's why I made a difference between Rulership and Divine Leadership and that because Divine Leadership cannot be taken because The Covenant of Allah cannot be broken) to his son Yazid (l.a) who murdered at his turn Imam Husayn (S) in a brutal manner. Ofcourse RassulAllah (S) have predicted that (even in sunni sources). People would say it's suicide but as believers we say It's The Will of Allah ('Az) and we all know that The Wills of The Divine Leaders are linked with The Will of Allah simply because He has chosen Them. That would be logical. But Allah isn't unfair rather it's us because He made Them a Fitna (Division) to us so we can choose to be with or without Them so The Tests continues because if we would had no choice, it would have been over and Paradise would have already come to us. But the reality is that it's us who should come to Paradise. And we should come to It by Them (S) rather Paradise is Them (S). Anyway, in Sunni History, they stop at 3 leaders (and I don't talk about Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman (l.a) which they chose unlogically and unfairly) whereas in Shi'a sources, it's stop at 12 : AlMurtadha, AlHasan, AlHusayn, AlSajjad, AlBaqer, AlSadeq, AlKadhem, AlRedha, AlJawad, AlHadi, Al'Askari & AlMahdi (S & a.f.s).
