Yo Hannah! Don't listen to all the negative comments here! Lots of people feels threatened when someone pretty is also really good at something. They will try and talk down on you or this video in order to compensate for them having neither of those qualities :) I've played music for 10 years, so I feel confident when I say you are a good drummer! +Julia Thaxton At the end of the day it doesn't matter what a drummer/musician does, it's how they sound. And Ford is pro. But what annoys me is that she seems not to get that drummers listen, I couldn't care less how much she smiles and throws her hands in the air. I've been to plenty of clinics and those that aren't tech monsters usually say so, and talk about what they do have to offer (such as their experience of working in a studio or how to mic a kit etc.) there's nothing to learn from Ford here (that I couldn't learn from just listening to her play on an album), except what not to do when playing for your fellow drummers.

I really don't get why people are so excited about her. I mean she's nothing special for as long as drumming is concerned, her skill is comparable with anyone who took a few years of music lessons, nothing's really special about it. There's plenty of boys and girls who aren't known by anyone and whose talent is so much far beyond sloppy stuff like this. I guess people gets conditioned by the fact she is a beautiful girl but this has nothing to do with drumming nor music in general. I feel sad about this. By the way she shows intelligence and humbleness when she talks so at least she's doesn't overvalue herself as much as her fans do, wich is a good thing.

***** What does touring with Prince have to do with anything? So she made it big.... lots of undeserving drummers have made it big. The drums in Princes songs are fairly basic. You're not telling anyone off by mentioning how she's touring with Prince. You've posted the same comment like 3-4 times that I can see. There are many, many more deserving male drummers. It's just that Prince is about show and wanted a female behind the kit. That being said, I think people need to learn how males and females differentiate in coordination/strength/speed in drumming instead of just assuming she sucks simply because she's not at the level of most male professional drummers. Women are not built like men.

I'm not sure what is Dubstep about the drumming apart from that she's got a dubstep backing track. Her actual drumming sounds like she's drumming along to Kashmir by Led Zeppelin.
