Lucy is such a joyful young lady. The kid always has a smile. Hawks defense is excellent. Lots more depth this season. This team really brings forth the fun that is good basketball.

Humility of these girls makes me not give one crap about the win/loss. They are beuatiful and Coach Jan seems like a winner. I would love to see these girls continue playing basketball at this level and same time remaining humble regardless of the outcome of this season. There is life after basketball for women like this. My hope, they win the title. Go Hawks!

They picked some great recruits this year and have a very deep team. That's how these teams like S.C., UConn, LSU are always so good, they have championship bids, then everyone wants to play there. It's great to see Iowa become one of these powerhouse teams.

Not only do they become one of those powerhouse teams, but they don't fail their players and drop them just for other players in the transfer portal. From what I can tell, the family atmosphere is not just for looks. They are loyal!! Got to appreciate that in today's times.

Lucy and Coach look like as they could related!!! Not Mother Daughter but Aunt and Niece!!! Same Eyes and Chin!!!! But we know they are not!!! Lucy more Goose Neck hold in place at end of the shot, and this important, place the hand in the basket at the end of the Goose Neck as if you are dunking it!!! You are aiming the ball into the basket not throwing it at the basket!!! If this sound harsh but it is the best way to improve the shot!!! Remember "Eyes and Mind" first then feet up, as you become the catapult to shoot the ball!!!!! One smooth move to the releasement of the ball!!! Then end with hand in the baaaaaaaasket!!!!!!!

The reality is they’re missing too many bunnies at the rim. They need work or the big 10 is going to be wake up call. The point guards have to find the open shooters. A little spoiled from Caitlin who could manipulate the opponent’s defense to positions she wanted. She always knew what she was doing and would use her dribble to get the shooters open. I don’t expect them to be Caitlin but I do expect them to see wide open shooters that don’t have a defender within 15 feet of them. I saw it too much tonight and I’m sure they’ll see it on film tomorrow. They may have won these first few games but they aren’t there yet.

RELAX, three new starters n playing four to five freshmen in the rotation n still trying to get mins for McCabe. Season is early it'll take time for everyone to adjust n figure it out, still think they'll win eighteen plus games. This Iowa team will win 80-85 to 65-75 types scores, not as high scoring but better defense will off set that.

Good Lord. They’ve just started 5-0 for the first time in seven years. They’re playing energetic high level defense for the first time ever. They’re scoring points from multiple players. And most importantly they’re obviously bought in and having the time of their lives. Enjoy this for what it is. This freshman class and getting underrated superstar Lucy Olsen has turned what would have been a rebuilding year into possibly an incredible year. Enjoy the ride.
