Tbh I don’t understand what the issue is-literally dragons are inspired by dinosaurs. Did you know that some of the first dinosaurs ever archived, aka documented, was named Dragon Plesiosaurus? Because they were. In 1830-1840s Thomas Hawkins, an early fossil collector, unearthed the earliest fossils of plesiosaurs and that was the name given to them. The word “dinosaur” literally didn’t exist back then. They were found in the fossil beds of Lyme Regis, UK. Another fossil he found was given the name Thalassiodracon hawkinsii. Which is Greek for “Sea Dragon of Hawkins” and this name was coined by Sir Richard Owens. Sir Richard Owens was the one who then a few years later came up with the word “dinosaur.” But, prior to that he himself and everyone else called these fossils “dragons.”

Sunny apparently does not take the "legal notes" very seriously because she has so many of them. Once she says something that is untrue about a public figure, notwithstanding the legal note, the damage has been done. Since she appears not to take the process seriously, perhaps a public figure should simply sue her. At this point, the "legal notes" are simply her hall pass to say whatever she wishes with the only punishment being reading the legal note in a very insincere tone. The notes might be her red badge of courage.

ABC doesn't fact check itself or its "newsroom" let alone the harpies on The View. Legal checks? Yeah, most definitely -- the most terrifying thing for a large organization is the notion of being sued. Large corporations implement insane policies that affect the mission the corporation to avoid being sued or retaining information that could be used in discovery. Why do you think many large corporations have policies that delete emails and messages after a fixed amount of time (usually 30 days to 6 months). Absolutely hoses the ability of a corporation to maintain useful information for actual work product, but legal fears trump all else.
