Obviously it’s not a fair competition. Some well played participants were out and save the vacant for their own students.

@@danny_chestnut253 Well, when you take a look the semi final list, you will find most of them from same music school in Berlin where the music director Ms W is teaching, hmmm, you will know it’s just a insider competition. All her students got in. Take a search, you will see how they play, some ok, but some just….. Another Zakhar Born😂. Feel bad for those well played and didn’t get a fair justified.

@@Islandfischer-e7c i 100% agree her student Louisa staples plays so out of tune her Wieniawski was a mess and her schubert was very underwhelming.

Fucking Matia-controlled competion! semifinalists three are Weithaas students, two are Picard's students, all from Hanns Eisler Hochschule!! This kind of competition kills the enthusiasm and future of young muisc talents and kills the future classical music market!. Hannal Tam is so much better in sound, virtuosity and musicianship than any of the finallists!! the audience and other fellow violinists and musicians can easily heard ! Weithaas is a wonderful violinist and a good teacher. I do not know if she herself is a Matia or someone else behind her. She absolutely ruin her own reputation with this competition as the real chairman not the puppy chairman Soprano.Stupid mentality and stupid conduct! betray the spirit of music art and musicianship. I am no more big fan of Weithaas
