I mean, to be fair, I think Hannah had the right idea. You have a team of two pretty new runners, a new sandkeeper, and the best runner vs a team with three runners that have all given very good runs before. The choice was between Sky Battle and Sands of Time, and Sands of Time allows you to play your own game a lot more, so it was a tough call. Also, Sneeg literally bombed Sky Battle, so Sands was being played regardless. It really isn't Hannah's fault what happened.

It’s the dismissiveness that’s off putting though. Her phrasing is so condescending and rude towards the other players. Also, underestimating your opponents notoriously leads to bad judgement calls that can manifest in a variety of ways. You might subconsciously not try as hard thinking you have it in the bag or perhaps your coms suffer because you’re not more focused than your opponent is, who arguably has the advantage of drive and intense motivation and focus to overcome their odds. That’s something so many players seem to neglect. The psychological aspect to performance in these games. Some of my favorite MCC perspectives are Teams with remarkable cohesion and morale. MCC 9 Blue Bats, MCC 17 Orange Ocelots, MCC 25 Green Geckos, MCC 32 Red Reindeer. These are poster child’s for how much good communication, morale, leadership, and great economizing of teammate skills and resources allows them to excel. And some skills are completely ignored. Scar for instance, his personality and charisma can break bad moods if things start going poorly or he sets good vibes right off the start. And when combined with the positive vibes of others like Jojo, they’re cracked together with both time they paired up being high ranking teams. Grian is a mid level player but his most valued skill is his mind. He’s very clever, attentive, and has good leadership quality that lets him dominate Buildmart and support his team, identifying when information is required and calling for guidance from the more experienced players while making sure anyone less experienced on their team knows what their doing. Going back to Hannah, I just am not a fan of players who speak down of others in such a way. It’s frankly rude and narcissistic and is a bad role model. That’s why I love that the Hermits are stepping up to join MCC this season. They’re mature and good natured. And the cracked players like Fruit, Pete, Jojo, Firebreathman, and Hbomb that enjoys teaming with them, I just love them all to bits. They’re so wholesome for not looking down on them and agreeing to play with them.

im so glad they won, literally everyone was predicting them either 9th or 10th because they were the least experienced team in the event. they were truly the underdogs. it's also sad that Jojo keeps bringing herself down in MCC. she always says stuff like, "im terrible at parkour" and stuff like that. but it isn't true, she is easily one of the best MCC players out there. she just isn't confident in her skills which makes her do worse.

I think the difference is Jojo’s ability to calmly lead and keep morale high. She stays humble, non toxic and the good vibes help carry the moment. All those combined is what makes her able to lift up the rest of her team and squeeze the best from her teammates. No matter who they are. That, and Hannah underestimated the rest of jojo’s team.

Well to be fair not trying to be mean here but Hannah overestimated her boundaries because I watched her vod recently and she said that she is a strong SoT player but she is a decent-weak SoT player because if you're saying that you're a strong SoT player and proceeds to get 8th and 10th in their latest SoT, that is not a showcase of a strong SoT player. That's why Jojo, Dream (when he was still active), Hbomb, and Punz are one of the best SoT leaders because they can lead a team and can consistently get top 3 in SoT

The whole point of that phrase is basically to watch out how people perceive themselves. Ex.
