Both of her grandparents were involved in glyndborne and one of her parents was involved In the eno. Her father knew Eric idle. So when idle was looking to cast the lady in the lake, her father bill suggested her. She went for the audition and her vocal power stunned everyone. As did her comedy timing. She had toiled for years in the west end. Spamalot was her big break. Not long after she was cast Ted lasso

@@Chaneloweenz I know for a fact that this lyric change here that goes, "All our Tony Awards won't keep me out of Betty Ford's" happened immediately after the show won Best Musical, and Sara Ramirez who originated Lady of the Lake won Best Actress. Every performance and production has differentially joke wise, which is why I've seen multiple productions substitute a different singer for Britney Spears - and that's one of my favourite aspects of this show.
