Honestly, I love how much thought was put into this show - even the wardrobe has meaning and backstory. Julie's sparkly dress, for example, was made by her mother just before her mother died and this was the first time Julie could bring herself to wear it (according to the costume designer).

i love how none of the songs seem like throwaways or just a means to fill space. they’re all very well produced, so lively, and for the most part further the plot. theres not a single skip on the album, and its a netflix kids tv show!! thats impressive!! and is an example of what a musical show should be!

There’s actually a thing in Hollywood: if the actor is more than half of the actresses age or vice versa, the kissee can decide whether or not a kiss will happen. However, if the age difference is smaller, a kiss usually happens. I don’t know if that changed of anything to accompany minors, BUT it should be noted that if Madison Reyes wanted to kiss Charlie Gillespie and vice versa, a kiss more than likely would’ve happened (if her parents were okay with that too)

Stand Tall always gets me because she thought they had jolted out of existence and she didn’t get to say goodbye. But really they were just being held by an evil ghost elsewhere. Still she went on to sing and was surprised when Alex poofed in, followed by Reggie and then Luke. Ugh. I need to rewatch this series again. Lol.

Someone has probably commented this already but “Perfect Harmony” was written by Madison and Charlie. They wanted a little Troy and Gabriella moment between Julie and Luke and pitched the song to Kenny Ortega one day while filming. They also pulled some of the choreography for “Perfect Harmony” from High School Musical and Dirty Dancing:)
