@@franfrankie7 to increase your vib you want to focus on vocal fold contact. You can't learn vibrato but you can control it / learn to do what Mariah is doing where the vib is coming in at the end. @@johannaplockl463 Based on everything Tina and co.have said and done it seems safe to say that none of the original cast will be in the movie. I wish they were but I understand. By the time filming started the OBC would all be 30-38 years old. On stage that's fine but film is a more intimate medium. It will be a fresh start. They didn't say whether the London production is still in the works. If so, they might recast entirely there but I could see some Broadway folks making the trip -- like maybe Renee and Krystina. They were the only established mean girls left on B'way. (Because Ashley and Taylor had left long before the others)

As a senior in high school who wants to go into theater, this made me so emotional??? Like, how Mariah said she hadn't worked on certain technical stuff until she got college, I heard that and thought "I'm not the only one, then." And seeing her be a widely recognized professional from that makes me almost want to cry While I'm here, suggestions for singers to react to: - any of Dan Avidan's cover albums (I recommend his covers of Kiss From a Rose or Scarborough Fair especially) - the Hunchback of Notre Dame off-Broadway musical, also known as my favorite musical ever - Jacob Halley (I hope I spelled that right!). He does acapella covers of lots of different songs. My favorite: his cover of Hooked On A Feeling - DOJA CAT (although some of her music isn't exactly family-friendly, so I understand if you wouldn't want to. But she has a really unique voice and I'd love to see you analyze it.)
