Please also make sure you either make them a vector or somehow upscale them with AI because the generated images are somewhere around 1500px or less and after exporting lets say a 2000px or whatever higher res, the image will look bad. Making them a vector and edit the imperfections externally is probably the best option.

? Even for small stickers they still need to be upscaled even though resolution is at 300DPI? Sorry, I don't think I understand.

​@@kathyb-007 If your small sticker requires resolutions up to 1000 or 1500px then you're ok with that. If you're using a small resolution file and enlarge it just by stretching it to fit the requirements then you'll get wonky pixelated results

Would love some feedback. I have a small Etsy shop and watched this video and decided to make a single sticker to add my store (in hopes of making more). But in order to profit $1, I had to price the sticker at $8.00 (so that the customer could have free shipping included). HOW are people selling stickers for way cheaper with free shipping?!?!? I'm so confused. Nobody wants to spend THAT much on one 2x2" sticker!!

Hi Hannah, I just started an Etsy POD store. I have been watching a few KZbin videos about running a Etsy POD store. On one guys KZbin channel he was saying that you should only upload one design a day to your shop. He said if you upload more than one design a day. It will course the Etsy algorithm to affect traffic going to your store in a negative way. I was just wondering what your opinion was on this. Cheers Michael

While I don’t think you should spam your shop with hundreds of listings a day, uploading a modest amount shouldn’t give you any trouble! If you’re worried, start the first week or so just doing a couple per day and then post more after.

What are the expected profit margins? From what I'm seeing on Etsy, a lot of stickers sell anywhere from $1-$3. And with POD fees plus Etsy fees, I can't imagine there's much profit left over.

I buy a lot of stickers, I prefer them to be smaller, 4x4 would be too big and would cost more so I wouldn't buy those. I buy the variety packs with 1x2 and 2x2 sizes often.

I’m learning that PoD doesn’t seem to work for stickers. You can’t create a competitive price after manufacturing costs plus shipping. Even with sticker sheets. Too many others outselling….Disappointing.

Legally in the USA anything that is AI generated cannot be copyrighted so anyone can steal the design and use it elsewhere. Because a person did not make it, it cannot be anyone’s intellectual property.

The number of listings does not guarantee when you start making sales. It's a matter of many factors: quality of the product, the pricing, product photos, SEO, product demand/interest, etc. Now generally speaking, the more listings you have in a shop, the higher the chance you have of being spotted as each listing has the potential to draw traffic to your shop. But make sure to pay attention to all the other areas listed above to ensure your providing good products and good service to your potential customers.

People say AI is easy, it isn't, I have tons of deleted images, lots that need altering because ai isn't perfect.it isn't free either and costs money, you have to pay and quite often you have to create several images before it gets what you want. Even then it still a lottery when you press the create button. As an a artist I feel pressured to use ai because it would take me ages to create stuff compared to ai. My hands shakes sometimes due to my dyslexia and I feel no one would pay for a not so smooth perfect picture.
