After becoming a parent, I wanted something creative and flexible to do during nap time. I started with a Crafted Threads design bundle, ordered a Cricut from Amazon, and made parent-themed shirts just for fun. Turns out, other parents LOVE custom t-shirts! Selling them at community meet-ups has been an amazing way to connect with others and make some extra money on the side. Highly recommend this setup!

Most of the video creators showing someone else’s shop sale status they don’t show their shop at all, no one do that because most of them make more money in YT for the views than selling in a platform, a lot of self promoting gurus themselves telling the products they use and they are earning in that as well. This was so helpful! I’ve literally just signed up with Etsy and Printify. I note you said you have no return policy - in UK and EU we have to allow returns within 14 days of receipt of items unless they are personalised. Is there a way of just selling the USA if that returns policy doesn’t apply there? How does it work selling to UK if choosing a supplier from USA (postage to UK is prohibitive), but then how does it work the other way around? Can you upload the design twice - once to a USA supplier and once to a UK supplier?
@elizabethbourquin87217 ай бұрын
Helpful and inspiring as always - thanks, Hannah! I have a question about the thumbnail/primary mockup photo - I’ve read that Etsy requires it to be either a photo of the actual (already produced) product, OR a photo supplied by the manufacturer of the product. Word on the street is that some Etsy stores are being suspended because of mockup photos made using websites like PlaceIt. What do you know about that?
@hannahebeling7 ай бұрын
You need to make sure that any mockup you use is representing the product as close as possible and you will be fine. I also like to include those product mockups from printify in the listing as well since they give the truest representation of the color and placement.

Fantastic video Hannah! Can you do this A-Z for Amazon Merch as well. I'm just getting started and so many videos are focused on Etsy. I would really just like a workflow for merch without getting side tracked with so many references to other platforms. I feel like for newbies this is one of the biggest obstacles.
